Many New Hanover County residents will be outraged to learn Commissioner Thompson used such language and conducted his responses in such an improper manner. Citizens expect and deserve professional, polite and courteous behavior from elected officials. It is the responsibility of each of us to hold our County Commissioners accountable with the use our tax dollars. Any questions, from WHOEVER, are reasonable and should be expected. The County Commissioners should understand the public is watching how they spend our money. It effects all of us.
