I am a current student at UNCW and has a professor on the search committee. I quote him directly that the process is, "cloak and dagger". Obviously, it is not transparent. The university sets up focus groups for students to provide input but that is about the limit of involvement. Where is more student involvement in this process? The university should be working to serve and educate the students rather than adding useless layers of directors and useless staff while increasing the student fees each year. We need finance reform!
