LELAND,NC (WWAY) -- North Brunswick will honor Chuck Brown on February 4th before the North Brunswick-South Brunswick basketball game in Leland. Brown is a graduate of North Brunswick High School. He played college basketball at NC State before heading to the NBA. Brown was a second round draft pick in 1989 of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Navassa native played for twelve NBA teams. That's a record he shares with three other players. Chucky Brown is currently an NBA scout for the New Orleans Hornets.
