I have lived in Brunswick County since 1987. I have always said that the county should put signs at each welcome to Brunswick county line and they should read "Welcome to Brunswick County - we leave no tree standing, and if we did, we will be back to get it". I have never seen an area that is so devoted to wiping out our natural protection against hurricanes and other storms. Some call it progress - I call it stupidity.
