I've always viewed the ballot box as the best term limit, but I'm starting to recognize that at the local level especially, cronies and corruption keep many small dictators in office for too long. They start out as totally honest people who want to do the best job possible but wind up thinking that they're God and acting like they're Ferdinand Marcos. They can do anything they want to....the subtle corruption of longevity....

BTW, there's not a lot that Jon David can say about this, other than the fact that she worked there from X date to Y date, and is or isn't eligible for re-hire. In addition to the normal litigation concerns we all face when addressing questions about former employees, he has to worry about jeopardizing the investigation and pending case.
