I can think of three reasons:
#1 Curtis is now exiled to AM radio -- I hate AM radio because of the noise
#2 I did listen to Curtis on his FM show -- which he was fired from -- and I thought he was the most abusive, angry man to his guests
#3 Curtis is a Yankee Doodle Dandy -- he's not from 'round here -- but Pennsylvania -- he lacks local knowledge
Why don't I call into Curtis Wright's show to vent
