Cooper Tackles MySpace State Attorney General Roy Cooper will tackle the topic of MySapce, computers and child predators Tuesday when he testifies before the House judiciary committee. Cooper wants tougher laws, such as one requiring parental permission before children can join social networking sites like MySpace. Cooper is pushing the House to pass Senate bill 132, a comprehensive package of changes to state law that increases punishment for child predators and pornographers.
