I'm seeing the word corruption come up again and again in these comments. I'm seeing people referring to other politicians being corrupt because they are Democrats. Hilarious! Go back to sociology class, folks. Elected officials are no different from the rest of us when it comes to doing and repaying favors. Perdue gave a job to someone who helped her in a pinch? How novel! That's how it's commonly done in the non-political world, too.

None of this is meant to defend the truly guilty, but come one, folks.
