All of the pretentious Wilmywood film hipsters will be at this sickening event. How anyone with any intelligence or taste can stomach it is beyond me.
I attended last year's Cucaloris, and the offerings were, for the most part, insufferable to sit through. Most of the showcased filmmakers had no talent, except for trendiness. When it comes to "trendy," Cucaloris is a winner.
Film communities, like "art" communities, are all about fashion and are made up of air heads who have never read a book in their lives, and never will.
And speaking of fashion, I see that a fashinista (a wannabe fashionista) has a big role in this year's local "An Evening at the Oscars." Count me out.
