The sale of this helicopter was a huge mistake. This helicopter should have been incorporated into the SABLE program so they could get rid of one of the aging former military OH-58 helicopters they operate. The OH-58 much more expensive to operate on an hourly basis than the Robinson R44, is quiter and has longer life limits on parts and maintenance. The R44 would have been the best to serve the citizens of NH County and other counties participating in SABLE.
