...but I would like to see our brave Marines honored for all they've done for this country. I think all of our military branches should be included though, US 17 has plenty of room to include them all.
I never heard anyone complain about changing the Smith Creek Parkway to Martin Luther King Blvd. (and we know EVERY city has to have one of those!). I never heard anyone complain about those huge brass bowling pins, the adjacent manicured walkways and seating areas that nobody ever uses on 3rd street. $100,000.00 wouldn't even touch the brick and concrete work wasted there, much less pay the sculptor OR purchase the land and maintain it!
