WILMINGTON -- Security is now much more on the mind of some local nightclub goers after an incident a few nights ago. What started as a fun night out for two local women ended with them in the hospital. They say poor security is to blame. Wilmington resident Shanetta says she and her sister were both cut with a blade by another woman inside The Rox nightclub early Monday morning. She received ten staples in her chest. The Rox's general manager says there was more security than usual Sunday night for the Yung Joc performance. Still, Shanetta has one thing on her mind. She said, "The security of the club. Because for one they're supposed to search you, do a thorough search. I got cut with a straight razor that wasn't supposed to be in the club." Shanetta says while she didn't see the weapon those who treated her at the hospital told her it was a cut from a blade. Wilmington police were unable to confirm where the women were injured and have no further information about the incident.
