I'm ashamed to admit I did vote for her. I would definitly rethink that now. I am the parent of a student who is currently enrolled in this program. Yes, they are currently out on the research vessel which they are thinking about cutting the funding on. This part of the program is imperative to teach these students what they need to know in order to get the jobs that they want. Or else they will be amongst all of those that are now on section 8 and using the system to collect welfare! And lets not discuss all of the illegals that are being allowed to stay in our area. Cut the funding for those programs. Make them all get jobs. Not the students are trying to make it in this world without taking advantage of the systems at the expense of the state funding. KEEP ALL FUNDING for the Marine Tech Program. Oh, and an executive chef? Please....Cook your own meals!
