Mr. McIntyre, the government has already broken it's contract with its citizens. This account has been raided for years and is now broke. The citizens have been forced by the government to pay into this system and politicians have robbed them blind, now when they need the money, it isn't there. Where were you when all of this was going on? Why have you waited to protect the senior citizens until the money is gone..I wish the Democrats had been as passionate about saving social security as they are in saving the Unions pensions...but then, I guess there isn't any kick backs in Social Security. Social Security is full of IOU'S, we can't pay our bills with IOU'S, our creditors don't take those.
