I am not connected to this

I am not connected to this issue in any way - I grew up in and my family lives in Wilmington, and I still own property here, but am a resident of Charlotte. But, it's obvious that WWAY is biased in the tone of their reporting on this issue. WWAY has a habit of personally attacking those who don't give them interviews. Instead of objectively reporting news, they insert themselves into the stories and their "news" becomes an editorial. You ever notice that in most news report when somone isn't giving interviews, the news says quite simply that "Jane Doe hasn't responded to requests for interview" or "Jane Doe hasn't returned messages left at their office." They don't call them out WWAY style, like schoolchildren do on the playground.

Why would any private citizen or privately held company grant an interview to a news organization that is working their hardest to make them look bad? You'd have to be insane to open yourself up like that. You'd be walking right into an ambush.
