I had small claims court in Wake County. Mr. Miller was 1 hour and 20 minutes late. Quite surprises a company that claims to be multimillionare does not have an attorney present! He claims he had to hire another subcontractor to finish our work. He claims that he had contacted me in several occasions to let me know that there was a problem with the job site. He claims he was in the job site. He was never there, never met with me or my company. I have provided the judge a copy of inspection records. Needless to say, cellphone records never show a call from NC Contracting saying there was anything wrong. Mr. Miller comes up with a hand written contract that he claims was supposedly done between him and another sub contractor. Judge granted on my favor. He immediatly attempted to appeal, still claims he has no money for anyone else. Tells the judge he had paid everyone. Well, that's not true. I encourage every subcontractor to stand up and get your situation public. I am glad I have kept my business in Georgia, very far away from NC Contracting schemes for not paying! This was an HUD project. I can't wait to see those federal charges coming at them. This is the next Lee Cowper...
Excuses and more excuses, still did not pay ANYONE!
