Internet cafe in Calabash robbed

CALABASH, NC (NEWS RELEASE) - Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are searching for two male subjects that were involved in an armed robbery in the Calabash area early this morning.

At approximately 5:15 am on March 15th, two subjects entered Calabash Internet Cafe, located at 1224 River View Drive, concealing their identity through masks. The employees were forced to hand over an undetermined amount of US currency before fleeing the business.

The first suspect was between 5’6” and 5’8” weighing approximately 170 lbs, mid 20s, wearing a yellow bandana and nylon navy 2-piece jumpsuit. The second suspect was between 5’8”-5’10” weighing approximately 170 lbs wearing a black sweatshirt and pants.

The suspects fled from the business on foot and traveled in an unknown direction.
