I think requiring voters to have an ID is an excellent idea. I can't understand why we weren't doing it already.
Kids need birth certificates to start school or play sports, so why should we be allowed the privilege of voting without any proof of identity?!
As far as the disabled and "recent college graduates" not having id, that is totally untrue. Neither condition renders you unable to have an ID. If a person is driving, they have an ID.
The recently married would have an old ID and proof of marriage. So what is the problem?
You can't fly or even take a train without ID - so why do you suddenly have a problem showing ID to vote?
Only those who are illegally voting would have a reason to be concerned about providing ID to vote.
