I think that when the beach communities contribute something other than criticism...say some cash, for operations and debt retirement...to the convention center, they might have the right to ask for photo inclusion. Until then, since they actively fought to prevent it, they should keep their mouths shut. Wrightsville, in particular seems to do more to prevent daytrippers from Wilmington than any other beach community. They used to have bumper stickers that said, "Welcome to Wrightsville Beach. Now leave." I really believe that their envy of Figure 8 and Baldhead could only be resolved by the construction of a guard house on the ICW bridge.
