Wilmington police are searching for an armed robber after he held up the Dollar General at 1600 S. College Road Sunday afternoon. The robbery happened around 2 P.M. according to investigators.

The man demanded money and showed an employee a handgun. He then ran off after he was given money from the register. The robber is described as a black male, 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark colored hat and a black jacket. Anyone with information can call the Wilmington Police Department.
