I have researched several sources and you are incorrect. The Iodine-131 isotope from Japans Nuclear plant has been detected in most of the lower 48. Weather patterns are very complex and can cary these isotopes great distances. However, I would say we have little to worry about (and no I don't believe that because our government says so, I believe that because I have taken time to research the information for my self.)
