Some little leaguers are going to the big game. The ten-year-old Leland boys all-star team is the first Leland team to ever go to their league's World Series. They recently returned from the State Championships, and brought the championship home to Leland. In August, the team will head to Virgina to face other top teams from across the country. Team members say it's going to be quite and adventure. "Staying in a hotel room and playing games with my friends," left fielder, Blaine Hollis said. The team will hold a fundraiser car wash and donut sale behind the Leland Hardee's this Saturday before boarding the bus for their trip to Virginia.
