Three arrested for trying to scam Walmart pharmacy

THE FOLLOWING IS A NEWS RELEASE FROM THE BRUNSWICK COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three subjects this week that were involved in an attempted prescription fraud in the Shallotte area.

Agents investigated complaints on these subjects that came through the Wal-Mart pharmacy in Shallotte. Arrested were Lendsy Alamander Helmstetler, Lyle Terry May and Erica Dawn Curtis on Tuesday, March 29th for the listed charges.

Bond: $5,000 secured

Bond: $5,000 secured
