WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Two new reports from genetic researchers show some promising findings in the field of Alzheimer's research. The findings were published in "Nature Genetics." They outline the discovery of five new genetic markers for the disease. Scientists say the discovery doubles the number of clues as to the cause of the disease. Researchers are careful to say an Alzheimer's cure is still a long way away, but the new findings are a critical point in finding a cure.
