What is the meat of the story? That she was out of town? God forbid she be somewhere other than North Carolina for any reason. It must be because she is a Democrat. I hear the two main reasons for vacationing with old friends is socialism and heathenism. I also have to agree with the other comments about the political leanings of this station. Do you really care where she was or did you see a chance to fish for a story and hoping for it to stick? Card carrying republican here, but really, is this really newsworthy? The reason that there is no middle road in politics is because the media seeks to demonize and alienate anyone as long they think people will read it. Republicans and Democrats alike.
