Is the DA's campaign signs and slogan of 'crime fighter' considered an Attempt to Obtain Property by False Pretense if he got elected, collects a paycheck from the State of North Carolina and then spends so much resources with spinning tabloid fodder and diverting traffic ticket funds? Instead of using those resources for their intended purpose of investigating violent home invastions and violent homicides?
