It is not UNCW's word to take. It is the law. It can be confirmed on the GI Bill website at www.gibill.va.gov. The VA will now only pay up to the school's in-state tuition and fees. So for an out-of-state student they must now pay the difference. The VA did not do away with the program, they just changed it.
