You seem to know a lot about how 'the majority' of democrats think. I can tell you as someone who converted from republican to liberal democrat a long time ago that 'the majority' of us DO NOT think of any one in the military as 'inferior'. I don't know any of us who do not completely support and admire the men and women who are willing to risk their lives for something they believe is right. It is very very possible to disagree (despise) a war and still support the human beings involved.
You seem to be an intelligent person. If you ever have a chance to sit down and talk to one of us crazy liberal democrats and really listen without coming into the conversation with your mind already made up, I promise you would see how 'the majority' of us really feel. I think you'd be surprised.. :)
