I am a proud native of South Carolina. I have not lived there since I was 17.
There is a reason that South Carolina is almost as popular as New Hampshire in the primaries. It is that our politicans are so crazy that they are actually entertaining.
Examples: Strom Thurmond, a lifelong segregationist- who, aft er his death was revealed to have fathered a child with a black woman.
John somebody, who had sex with his wife on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
She was a stone fox.
Then there was an FBI sting of a congressman (name long forgotten) stuffing $100 dollar bills in his pockets.
So we have fun with our politicians. We do not expect them to accomplish much and they do not dissapoint us.
