I agree with you Meribeth! My cats are indoor/outdoor, they stay in the yard, know their territory. I tried the cat collars years ago, the breakaways always get hung up on something and break...that's what they're supposed to do. A regular collar could possibly hang a cat. And if the tags are on the collar and it gets lost, then what do you do? You have to buy more! I take excellent care of my animals, and if this happened to me, I'd be PO'd too. Mine have been spayed, a good vet can tell if it's been done!
