Times are hard. I agree with Ted. She could be a victim of the market crash. No one knows what resources she had before the recession and the bottom fell out of the market. Yes she had choices, but I want to ask the question, who hasn't done something at one time or another to survive? It could be a little white lie, but it was still not truthful. She should be given some slack.
