I understand that the head of the Senate has stated that Gov. Perdue has not called him to discuss her upcoming veto if certain things are not done regarding the budget. Undoubtedly, he thinks HE is the Governor of North Carolina (an elected position). HE needs to be calling and contacting the Governor not the Governor contacting him. It appears he has reversed rolls -- his appointed position by his colleagues versus her elected position by the voters of N.C. of which I am one.
