You are all missing the real point. The sad part is that the Wrightsville Beach Police Department is so backward that the only way this crime got solved is by the person turning themself in. The smalltown mindset of retired Colonel Simpson and Mayor Cignotti's refusal to demand more for our Town has left us in a terrible mess. When will we get to meet our new "smalltown" chief? Will someone on the Board of Aldermen speak up????? Look to the West, what do you see?
