Not only has he alienated the members of the body in which he was elected to serve, he has alienated most of the tri-county area. People are writing in from Pender and Columbus Counties.
I stood up before the recent Commissioners Open Forum at Myrtle Grove School, and as I was speaking, Berger was nodding at me and laughing...almost hysterically.
I wasn't saying anything that could have been interpreted as funny. It was so distracting that it made me forget what I wanted to say, and that isn't easy. We left that meeting shaking our head, AGAIN!
And believe me, his accusations of touching, poking and other paranoid complaints of secret sessions without him won't be forgotten during the next election. He needs to step down as soon as possible.
The abuccus is cast with the numbers that add up to a losing game for Berger. Granted, I dislike the self-serving sleazey Commissioners, but until we can convince "Commonsensenote" to run, we will have more of the same, with a gallon jug of lunacy.
