I'm so sorry you had to go through this. It could certainly happen to any of us, no matter how careful we try to be. I've stopped driving at night from the fear of hitting someone who might dash in front of my car, or trip and fall into the road. I don't see at night as good as I used to. Please try to learn to forgive yourself and press on.
