WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- There have been two confirmed cases of rabies in New Hanover County this year. You can do your part this weekend to keep your pets safe. There's a no-cost rabies clinic at 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the New Hanover County Health Department on South 17th Street. Dogs, cats and ferret four months of age or older are welcome, but must be leashed or in carriers.
