her Majesty has no idea how a budget is developed. Sort of like sign and drive I guess.
On or about August 5, the Feds run out of the ability to pay their bills. UNless the Federal Debt Ceiling is raised. Even Mike McIntyre indicates he can not vote to raise the debt ceiling until the Government gets its act together and begins working to reduce debt and spending.
So what happens then?
Right now, the Feds are raiding cookie jars and moving money from one Federal Agency to another to keep them afloat. But that ability runs out in August.
Then what?
Want to have a real impact, your Majesty? Drop Medicaid like a hot potato. Do away with it. That would be a significant step in the right direction.
