From someone who is connected to senior citizens activities, sadly, I can honestly say that I was NEVER aware of A SINGLE thing that the City offered SPECIFICALLY to Older Adults.

Did CITY STAFF really run a SENIOR ADULT PROGRAM? If so, was it a SECRET????????????

It must have been one of those made up programs, where a few older adults benefitted, instead of the multitude of tax paying adults. Or at least the STAFF benefitted from a paycheck.

NO LOSS if NO ONE KNEW!!! AT least UNCW, the COUNTY and the Senior Games (County and State) really PROMOTES their senior ACTIVITIES!

Credit where Credit is Due!!!

"The proposed budget also calls for an elimination of three programs-senior programming,
community lending and funding for adult softball scorekeepers."

SORRY to community lending (whatever that is) and funding for adult softball scorekeepers."
