We do not live in New Hanover County, but follow WWAY's coverage of the County Comissioners because it's often comical to say the least! I think personally Brian Berger has issues, but in this incident, he didn't actually assault the girl according to his statement and that of his girlfriend. He hit the car and damaged the car, but did not physically touch her...how can one be charged with assault and be forced to spend the night in jail with no bond when no assault actually occured? Just wondering!
