Actually, this is just another thing that the WWAY station got wrong. The girl involved in this story has been a friend of mine for almost six years and when I talked to her the other day she told me she never called 911. She said she thought 911 was for emergencies only and since she did not think of it as an emergency she dialed the communications number at the police department, which she has had in her phone for years ever since she moved to a college town where people like to get drunk and party till 4am. It was a 910 number. So yet again, WWAY messed up!
