I don't feel that this was just a "mistake" or that it should be dismissed by just an apology. An apology just gets someone off the easy way and then we are supposed to forget about the error. It is a big deal to omit the "under God" from the pledge. Don't trample on my rights to have it in the pledge, just because a few jokers out there don't want it in. I believe this country is supposed to be run on the majority opinion, not because "someone" at NBC made a decision. Not a great way to try to keep your standings high NBC.
