This country has come along way my friend, for the better I might add. If you want to go back to the past build a flippin time machine and go. the past has slavery, segregation, no women's rights, war against brothers. We still have a long way to go and the process is slow. but I am proud to live in this country, taking away prayer and the ten commandments is an achievement really. Not everyone believes in christianity and there is no reason to force it upon everyone else.
