I know the Lady in the accident, and am familiar with this case, so I can tell you that WWAY misreported the facts and Mr. Berger acted with class and grace during what was had to be a very difficult time. Mr. Berger was clear from the beginning that Geico was his carrier, and they have covered the claim, provided a rental car, etc...
Berger always said that Geico was his policy holder. Only WWA?Y reported otherwise (hmmm....truth wway?) and he went so far as to state he would pay if for any reason Geico did not. Geico did what insurance companies do though, but Mr. Berger acted appropriately and to attack someone who attends lots of meetings because you had to wait two hours for a return call...how childish.
I don't know Mr. Berger but I see WWAY has not apologized, taken down its erroneous story, and thats why we can't trust WWAY. An apology is owed to Mr. Berger (WWAY...do you just follow him around because you cant report on what matters, only rumors and trashy gossip)? Where is all the coverage admitting wway lied to viewers and Mr. Berger conducted himself with honor throughout, how many of you would do the same. Offer to pay if your carrier doesn't? You cant even find the integrity to apologize to someone who seems to be a good man being unfairly dumped on by wway and others. I feel for Mr. Berger. I cant imagine what he must be feeling after everything he's been through...
