Bruce - a District Attorney is an elected official who represents the government in the prosecution of criminal offenses. RC Soles Jr. is in fact a lawyer who may have committed illegal acts. Jon David, District Attorney, is awaiting the results of the SBI investigation, to determine if illegal acts were committed. It's Mr. David's job to prosecute if results of the investigation lean towards criminal activity. Not sure how your statement, "lawyers looking out for lawyers" can be valid.
