Voting more than once

How is it possible for someone to vote more than once? Sounds like the problem is with the voting precinct. Where I vote, there is a list of voters provided by the board of elections, and when you vote your name is checked off the list. If this is not the case state wide, it should be. Identification can be made easy by listing the voter's social security number by their name on the qualified voter's list....then verifying it with the voter's social security card when they vote. One vote for one social security number....how simple is that!
