Loved, loved, loved this story! It's something you don't hear about too much anymore.
My grandparents were married 75 years, and my mom and dad were married 51 years. I'm afraid today's society is too concerned with me, me, me and I, I, I to make a marriage last. A good marriage requires sacrifice (which most people today know nothing about), on BOTH sides, to work. It takes caring about someone else more than you care about yourself. Unfortunately, it is usually one-sided, with only one of the "couple" trying to make it work. I see it all the time. Society could sure take a lesson from this amazing oouple!
