My HS graduating class had 350 students, approximately. We had one young lady who walked down for her diploma and the gown hid her bulge. Her parents met with the young man and his parents; they got married before the birth. The parents accepted responsibility for the stupidity of their children.
Chapel Hill just took a $100 Million hit for the current fiscal budget. Every facet of state activity which requires state or federal funding is being cut.
Tough choices have to be made. And parenting should be in the home and not a function of government or some semi-government agency.
