This is one for the good guys. The chief is probably doing the best job of any that I can recall in the past.
Now, if we can get some laws with backbones to increase mandatory prison time for felons possessing weapons, the streets will be a safer place.
Our officers do a great job out there, and we need to make sure that they don't have to face felons that continue to break gun laws.
The men and women that serve need every available safety tool that we can give them.
Felons that habitually break gun laws because they have no teeth need to do hard time to convince them that crooks with guns means prison for awhile.
No plea bargaining down felons with guns. Period.
