Not a dime..The service was held in front of the Sheriff's Office, anyone who wanted to attend could. It lasted approximately 15-20 minutes. The Chaplain opened with prayer, a guy volunteered to play bagpipes, the Sheriff spoke, the K-9 sgt spoke, the Honor Gaurd preformed, the Chief Deputy did closing remarks and the Chaplain ended with prayer. I am so glad that all people care about is how much tax payers had to pay. Well, guess what? The deputies and all county employees are tax payers also. This dog aided in keeping dangerous drugs out of our kids hands and lost his life in the process. So what if it would have cost us? He deserved every bit of it! Be thankful please!
