simply stated....the teacher/student relationship needs to return to a more socially distant one...the social interactions should be limited (by teacher) to reduce or eliminate the possibility of a seemingly innocuos relationship becoming inappropriate; and in most cases...illegal. Its great to befriend your students but boundries must be set and observed. It is good to know a teacher at the high school my son attends has been vindicated.
